NitRIX was founded in 1984 and started with the unique Nitreg® atmosphere nitriding technology. It is a unique, fully integrated supplier of metal surface treatment solutions. We offer three commercial service lines: heat treatment systems (nitriding and vacuum furnaces), surface heat treatment and control systems and software services.

In 1984, the revolutionary NITREG technology was created and NITRIX was officially established, setting new standards for computer-controlled nitridation and nitrocarburizing. In 1990, commercial surface treatment centers were established in Canada and the United States, and turnkey sales and marketing departments were created for OEM manufacturers. In 2004, he entered the process control and automation market through the acquisition of Process-Electronic GmbH. In 2007, the development process control business was further developed through the acquisition of American companies Furnace Control Corp (FCC), Marathon Monitors (MMI) and Waukee. In 2017, with the acquisition of Atmosphere Engineering, United Process Controls (UPC) was further developed. The acquisition of G-M Enterprises in 2020 enabled Nittis to enter the vacuum furnace market and expand its turnkey system supply range. NITREX's new brand positioning in 2021 marks the entry of Nittis into the 2.0 era.
