MAE's history began in the late 1960s, when the company focused mainly on producing machinery and parts for the largest Italian synthetic fiber producers such as Montefibre, SNIA and ENI.
Over the next few decades, MAE's experience gradually evolved from the production of simple components to more complex components and complete units, entire production lines and complete factories. As a result, our design capabilities continue to grow, and today MAE can be seen as a strong partner for any fiber producer willing to outsource the development of important parts of its facility.
Carbon fiber PAN precursor has now become MAE's core business. We design and build complete plants for PAN precursors, including small capacity (laboratory scale), medium capacity (pilot scale or small industrial scale) and large capacity (industrial scale).
