The predecessor of the company was Yancheng Tractor Factory, founded in 1959. Since 1969, we have been specializing in tractor production and are one of the large backbone enterprises in China that produces tractors. We have undertaken multiple foreign aid projects from the Chinese government.

 In 2009, in order to promote the company's international development process, the company invested in high-quality assets of high-horsepower tractors and cooperated with Indian Mahengda Group to establish Mahengda Yueda (Yancheng) Tractor Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 514 million yuan, of which Mahengda MOICML Company accounted for 51%, and Jiangsu Yueda Investment Co., Ltd. 49%. The company has an annual production capacity of 60,000 large and medium-horsepower tractors, and has become an important domestic research and development and production base for large horsepower tractors and an export base for medium and small horsepower tractors.
 In 2017, Jiangsu Yueda Group Co., Ltd. successfully acquired a 49% stake in Indian Mahengda Group, and the company was changed to the current Jiangsu Yueda Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd.
 In 2021, Yueda Huanghai Jinma YL 254ET tractor won the most innovative tractor in 2021, and Yueda's "Huanghai Jinma" wheeled tractor won the "13th National Agricultural Machinery User Satisfaction Brand"
