Peiyang National Distillation Technology Corporation Limited (PYD) is an enterprise registered in National Management Bureau of Industry & Commerce. Registered capital of the company is 55,680,000 RMB, which comprises 30,680,000 RMB invested by Tianjin University and 25,000,000 RMB by Tianjin TEDA International Center of Business-Establish. The company is mainly engaged in the exploitation of chemical separation technology, chemical tower equipment design and manufacturing and field services. PYD use the state planning commission allocated $4.8 million world bank loan of science and technology and supporting capital of 25 million yuan, a total of 68.8 million yuan to the construction of base and the enterprise. The company is made up of three base sections: pilot scale experiment base, manufacture base, and research center.

The company now has two pieces of pilot base and industrial base. One pilot-plant is located in Tianjin Economical & Technical Development Area (TEDA). The stations contain 15,000 square meters of the floor area and 3,000 square meters of building area, including comprehensive lab building, internals production workshop, packing workshop, spray LABS, etc. The other one is located in the west of Binhai industrial research institute of tianjin university in tianjin lingang industrial park, has a area of 38000 square meters, construction area of 14457 square meters, the main factory building area of 7200 square meters and has built the internals production workshop, packing workshop, and separately built the pickling workshop, washing workshop, hydraulics test workshop, laboratory buildings and office buildings. The land has been completed and put into use in july, 2015.

The plant has achieved an annual production capacity of various structured packing of 30,000 standard cubic meters and tower internals of 8000 tons and an annual output value of 300 million RMB. Products are widely applied in the process of distillation separation including oil refining, petrochemical industry, fine chemical, air separation, environmental and pharmaceutical industries. Company has established the domestic leading, international first-class distillation technology engineering verification environment and research and development center.
