The Dutch company BVT is located in the Oss region in the southern Netherlands and is an important member of the Verhoven baking equipment family. BVT Dough Process Solutions Netherlands is an expert in custom calendering, laminating and forming lines for bread. We are a member of the Verhoeven baking family and a subsidiary of Verhoeven.
Until the late 1990s, Verhoeven acted as an OEM manufacturer to produce parts for Rijkaart Sasib, a leading manufacturer of bakery production lines, tailoring equipment to customers on demand. Rijkaart Sasib stopped production in the Netherlands in the late 1990s. It was at that time that three key employees of Rijkaart Sasib, Dick Bassa, Peter Vos and Frans Temminck approached Verhoeven. They knew the forming and rolling business well and saw the opportunity to work with Verhoeven. They were open to new expansion possibilities, and Verhoeven saw higher value in the proposals of Bassa, Vos and Temminck, and in 2001 formed a new company around the three: BVT Baking Services Ltd.
Under the banner of BVT Dough Process Solutions, we quickly became known in the industry for our high-quality sales, development, production and delivery of complete custom production lines. Former Rijkaart Sasib employees bring unique knowledge of the bakery industry, products and processes, which complements Verhoeven's production-line manufacturing expertise. Since then, the company's strength has continued to increase.
