Founded in 1945, HEESS develops engineers and produces together with approximately 90 employees in Lampertheim/Germany, 50 kilometres south of Frankfurt.  It is a world-renowned manufacturer specializing in the production of precision fixture hardening machine. It provides single-station manual feeding press and multi-station automatic quenching production line. The  fixture hardening machines and tools are developed, designed and manufactured by HEESS.

HEESS is the global leader in development, engineering and production of fixture hardening machines as well as their integration into the heat treatment process. Because of the customer’s desire for a complete solution to their heat treat processes, HEESS builds most of our systems fully automated, including magazines, furnace manipulators, supply and conveyors, washers, automatic handling devices, and fixture hardening machines. All of these processes come complete with a sophisticated PLC based control system, including part tracking, and operator interface panel. These individual parts of the total package may be purchased individually by the customer based on their existing process equipment.

Throughout the world, well-known automotive- and gearbox-manufacturer are operating with HEESS fixture hardening machines to achieve better quality of their workpieces by reducing distortion caused during the hardening process.
